"I find that UMAXX carries over much longer than other fertilizers do and its stabile so it does not burn the lawns. UMAXX lasts 12 to 16 weeks and I know its not leaching away. UMAXX stays in the soil feeding the plant so and I get a nice green growth full without excessive shoot growth that you sometimes experience with non-slow release or a non-Stabilized Nitrogen fertilizers. Plus another benefit is that I don't have use a rate quite as high as I need to be with other fertilizers. I can go to 3/4 of a pound and I seem to get the same results or better results then previously. I don't have to apply as much per 1,000 sq. feet nitrogen as I do with UMAXX and still get the same results do that's a direct money in the pocket to me. "I find that UMAXX performs consistently between my applications, and helps me do everything I can to be environmentally friendly. With slow release products, the nitrogen is being released at a given rate whether the plant uses it or not. Whereas with StabilizedNitrogen Technology, it's locked into the soil in an available form for whenever the plant may need it. The efficiency that UMAXX provides allows me to use about twenty percent less nitrogen and still get the same response, compared to other granular products I've tried. The time between me applications has now lengthened to five to six weeks with UMAXX. UMAXX has provided a deeper green, excellent color. T he turf density has gotten better; the growth has been controlled and steady, and the overall health of the plant has resulted, in my opinion, in less disease pressure and less stress overall. "I have used the UMAXX product for 3 years and have incorporated it into a regular fertility program. Fairways and tees are my primary applications but will be experimenting with UMAXX in my greens program next season.
